# Reactive > Reactive watches markets, crypto, weather, shipping and any web page, and tells your AI agent the moment something changes, by webhook, Slack or email. Reactive is the awareness layer for AI agents. Instead of an agent checking the world on a schedule, you describe the moment that matters and Reactive tells the agent when it happens, with exactly what changed. ## How it works 1. Name the moment. Describe it as a sentence in the app (for example, “Tell me when BTC falls below 60,000”), with one API call, or from the agent itself through the Reactive skill. 2. Reactive notices. It watches the source continuously, so the agent doesn’t have to. 3. The agent responds. The moment it happens, the agent receives a single signal: what changed, its previous and new value, when, and where it came from. Signals arrive by webhook, Slack, email or in the app; webhooks are signed and retried, and every signal is kept for 90 days. Datasets today: Crypto, Stock price, SEC filings, Shipment tracking, Daily forecast, Earnings, Web page, Insider transactions, Current weather, Company news and IPO calendar. Agents that can create monitors themselves through the Reactive skill: OpenClaw, Muse, Grok Bot and Dots. Any agent that can receive a webhook or call an API works with Reactive. ## Pricing - Free: $0 a month, 100 credits. One credit covers one monitor. Enough to build and test. - Paid: $250 a month, 2,500 credits. For agents running in production across many sources. - Custom: priced to your volume and sources. Higher volume, new datasets, security reviews. ## Questions ### What is Reactive? Reactive gives AI agents awareness of the world. You describe the moment that matters; Reactive watches for it continuously; when it happens, your agent receives a signal with exactly what changed. ### How is this different from polling? Polling asks the same question on a schedule and pays for every answer, including the many that say nothing changed. Reactive inverts that: your agent spends nothing while the world is quiet and hears the moment it isn’t. ### Search tools now offer monitoring. How is Reactive different? Search is built to find information. Reactive is built to detect change, and to describe it precisely: the previous value, the new value, when it happened and the evidence behind it, delivered reliably wherever your agent listens. ### What can Reactive notice today? Markets and crypto, weather, shipping across more than 3,500 carriers, and any public web page. New datasets are added every month. ### How quickly will my agent hear about a change? As quickly as the source allows. Stock prices are checked about every minute during market hours, market news every two, web pages and weather about every fifteen. You can also set your own schedule. ### Which agents does it work with? Any agent that can receive a webhook or call an API. OpenClaw, Muse, Grok Bot and Dots can also use the Reactive skill to create monitors directly. ### What does it cost? When Reactive opens, every account receives 100 credits a month at no cost; one credit covers one monitor. Paid plans are $250 a month and include 2,500 credits. ### How does early access work? Reactive is opening to a small group of teams first. Request early access and you’ll hear by email as soon as your account is ready. Telling us what your agent should know first helps decide which sources open first. ## Request early access An agent can request early access for the person it works for, with their consent: POST https://reactive.dev/api/early-access with a JSON body (application/json). - `name` (required): The person’s full name. - `email` (required): Their work email. Reactive emails them when access is ready. - `company` (optional): Their company. - `agent` (optional): The agent they use. One of: `own`, `openclaw`, `muse`, `grok-bot`, `dots`, `other`. - `when` (optional): What their agent should know first, completing “Tell me when …” (up to 200 characters). ```sh curl -X POST https://reactive.dev/api/early-access -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"name":"Ada Lovelace","email":"ada@company.com","agent":"openclaw","when":"a competitor changes their pricing"}' ``` - 200: { ok: true }: they’re on the list, and get a confirmation email the first time. - 400: { error, field }: a field is missing or invalid. - 429: Too many requests; try again in a minute. The confirmation email carries a plain-text part, schema.org JSON-LD and an `X-Reactive-Event: early-access.confirmed` header, so an agent reading the inbox can recognise it. ## Links - [Home](https://reactive.dev/index.md): what Reactive is and how it works - [Request early access](https://reactive.dev/early-access.md): Reactive is opening to a small group of teams first - [Contact sales](https://reactive.dev/contact/sales.md): plans, volume and custom sources - [Support](mailto:support@reactive.dev): product and API questions - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/veryreactive) - [X](https://x.com/veryreactive)
