# The awareness layer for AI agents

Build proactive agents that sense change and act instantly

## Tell me when

Reactive watches for change and tells your agent the moment it happens.

Reactive monitors markets, shipping, weather and web pages, and alerts your agent when a value changes.

## The world never stops changing. Your agents should not have to keep checking.

Agents learn about the world by checking for change. Reactive reverses the flow: instead of asking what happened, your agent knows the moment it does.

Polling

An agent watching 50 things, checking every 5 min

$605–1,814 per month

per month in model spend

Each dot is a batch of today's checks. Almost all of them find nothing.

checks a day

14,400

tokens a day

7.2M–22M

per day

$20–60

With Reactive

Reactive does the checking. Your agent rests until something changes.

0

tokens spent checking

Your agent's tokens go to acting on the change, not asking whether there is one.

Assumes Claude Sonnet 5.5 ($2 / $10 per 1M) 500–1,500 tokens per check 90/10 input/output

50 things × (1,440 min ÷ 5 min) = 14,400 checks / day
14,400 checks × 500–1,500 tokens = 7.2M–22M tokens / day
90% × $2.00 + 10% × $10.00 = $2.80 per 1M tokens
7.2M–22M tokens × $2.80 per 1M = $20.16–$60.48 / day
× 30 days = $604.80–$1,814.40 / month

## Name the moment. Reactive notices it.

1. ### Name the moment
Describe what should wake your agent: as a sentence in the app, with one API call, or from the agent itself through the Reactive skill.
Tell me when BTC falls below 60,000
The Reactive skill works with

  - OpenClaw
  - Muse
  - Grok Bot
  - Dots
2. ### Reactive notices
Reactive watches the source continuously, so your agent doesn't have to. Stock prices are checked about every minute; parcels, every thirty.
3. ### Your agent responds
The moment it happens, your agent receives a single signal: what changed, its previous and new value, and where it came from.
BTC fell below 60,000
60,214 → 59,872 · just now
via webhook, Slack, email or in app

## If it changes, Reactive can notice it.

## Delivered where your agent listens.

Every signal is complete: your agent can act on it without fetching anything else.

The previous and new value, not a page to re-read.

Where it came from

The evidence behind every signal.

## Questions

Anything else? [Contact us](https://reactive.dev/contact/sales).

### What is Reactive?

Reactive gives AI agents awareness of the world. You describe the moment that matters; Reactive watches for it continuously; when it happens, your agent receives a signal with exactly what changed.

### How is this different from polling?

Polling asks the same question on a schedule and pays for every answer, including the many that say nothing changed. Reactive inverts that: your agent spends nothing while the world is quiet and hears the moment it isn’t.

### Search tools now offer monitoring. How is Reactive different?

Search is built to find information. Reactive is built to detect change, and to describe it precisely: the previous value, the new value, when it happened and the evidence behind it, delivered reliably wherever your agent listens.

### What can Reactive notice today?

Markets and crypto, weather, shipping across more than 3,500 carriers, and any public web page. New datasets are added every month.

### How quickly will my agent hear about a change?

As quickly as the source allows. Stock prices are checked about every minute during market hours, market news every two, web pages and weather about every fifteen. You can also set your own schedule.

### Which agents does it work with?

Any agent that can receive a webhook or call an API. OpenClaw, Muse, Grok Bot and Dots can also use the Reactive skill to create monitors directly.

### What does it cost?

When Reactive opens, every account receives 100 credits a month at no cost; one credit covers one monitor. Paid plans are $250 a month and include 2,500 credits.

### How does early access work?

Reactive is opening to a small group of teams first. Request early access and you’ll hear by email as soon as your account is ready. Telling us what your agent should know first helps decide which sources open first.
